This is a sample post. It shows how a post will look once the club has something to say, and it is not club news.

Body text is set large, in a narrow column, so a long post stays easy to read on a desktop and on a phone. This sample holds no news, no events, no people and no figures. It only shows each style a post can use. A link in running text, like this link to Join Us, carries a teal underline and turns teal when a mouse is over it.

A first-level subheading

Space above a subheading is larger than the space below it, so the heading belongs to the text that follows it.

  • A list item can be one line or two.
  • Markers are small squares, never round.
  • A third item.

A pull quote repeats one line from a post, set large. It is used only when a post has a line worth pulling.

A second-level subheading

A smaller subheading sits inside a first-level section.

  1. A numbered item.
  2. A second numbered item.

A quoted passage from another writer or speaker sits here, set apart by a thin rule at its side.

The person or book it comes from
“A passage of scripture sits here, in the italic serif, in one block.”
Book chapter:verse, translation

No picture in this sample

A caption sits under each picture and says who, where and when, in plain words.

That is every style. When the club has news, a real post takes this one's place.
